His sound blends Americana, rock, country, and hip hop. His song "Start a Riot" featuring Duckwrth, which appeared on the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack in 2018, brought him notoriety. He co-wrote two songs for Beyoncé's eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter, in 2024.
